Laptop GPU FPS dropp

I recently bought an Asus x556JQ (it has a GTX940MX), and I launched GW2 on battery to see how much fps I have. Before that I switched to video card only in the NVIDIA control panel. In-game I turned the graphics to minimum (1920x1800). I had a nice 50 fps but in every 10s for 4s my fps dropped to 8 or so. What causes it? When plugged in it has smooth frame rate.

What are your laptop tempratures idle and full load

I run a stress test, the CPU went up to 72°C, but I didn't fint a sensor for the gpu. I din't think this has something to do with overheating. When plugged in, it runs smoothliy. By the way, can't it be that on battery mode, the GPU doesn't get enough electicity? If that would be that case what should I do?
