I've been running my ASUS Q550LF for a few years now. It's had a bum RAM stick from factory that messed up my drive. but throughout all of that BS it keeps forgetting it has a dedicated graphics card. I recently fixed the RAM/HDD issue. But just today, when I got home from work, I was running on Intel HD graphics instead of my, admittedly old, GeForce 745m chip. I've gone through the whole trial of drivers. GeForce Experience refuses to acknowledge that I have the latest drivers, wont let me do anything else. CPU-Z sees the chip. But game like Skyrim dont see it and force me to use my integrated. The only graphics setting in my BIOS/UEFI is for extra RAM allocation. I can't find any settings anywhere to juggle my graphics options. Please help.
Just some quick specs for context:
ASUS Q550LF, Win10
1TB HDD
4GB DDR3L RAM
AMI BIOS
Purchased in February 2014
P.s. I am studying for A+ and Net+ so dont worry too much about my knowledge base. I just have been struggling with this poor machine for too long to have any idea what it's up to now.
