Laptop idle temperature 50c

Okay, I have toshiba c55 with i3 3110m processor. Idle temperature is, as I said, 50c and when I use it, it goes on around 70-85c. I cleaned cooler and put thermal paste, but it helped only a little bit. I even changed processor usage on maximum 70% but yet it gets that temperatures. I am not sure what else to do, any ideas? Thanks

Are you sure that the venting for the laptop is getting enough circulation? If no, try using it where it will. Not on top of any kind of material, etc.

If this doesn't help, and the fan(s) is/are working fine, then you could try a cooling pad.

I have cooling pad and my laptop is on it, but fan from that pad is on the wrong side, so I think it isn't helping much
