Laptop immediately turns off after disconnecting AC adpter

Hi

I have the Toshiba P75-A7200 laptop.
Whenever I disconnect the power plug the laptop turns off..

I've ordered a new battery, installed it and let it charge for 12 hours-same problem. (the battery percentage is stuck in 82% forever).

Please advise.

Unless your warranty is expired or voided, please refer to your manufacturer. This is hardware failure, most likely motherboard, soldering issue.
