laptop keys are not working properly

On my hp laptop certain keys won't work at all and other keys will type multiple characteres (i.e. "e" becomes "er". I swear there was no spill. External keyboard works fine. I've restarted, uninstalled keyboard and tried taking the battery out, then held power button for 60 seconds, then reinserted the battery and still nothing has helped. any other ideas?

Hi, I suggest to reseat the ribbon for the keyboard.
