Laptop not booting properly

My laptop will not boot up properly unless I have totally drained the battery prior to boot up, the charger is plugged In when booting so surely it isn't a battery problem?..it works absolutely fine when on but it's having to drain the battery which is becoming very tiresome any help would be greatly appreciated

Didn't mean to vote you down sorry clicked by accident it fires up and the cpu fans kick in but then they just die out and hum really slowly...the laptop won't boot up just get a blank black screen

sounds maybe like a battery prob so get the same exact battery dont buy used just buy a new one btw im still the same person i just log into another account
