Laptop not loading, fan spins, hard drive spins,stops and repeats without sending signal to the screen

So, I have a 6-year old laptop (Toshiba sattelite l655-120) and after all these years I started facing a few problems. After trying to start it,the fan started spinning for 4-5 secs, no screen loaded, then it stopped and repeated by itself. I tried cleaning around and removing one of the ram sticks resulting to the pc doing the same thing but lasting for 10 secs. Now I can hear the hard drive spinning before shutting down again and repeating. What could be the problem? I have to state that I experienced gpu problems before all that with whole pixel lines not loading and not being able to get past windows loading screen without blue screeing! Is my gpu burnt?

Hi there anemistiras,

You can try each RAM stick in all the slots.
In case the issue persists, then there's a chance that there's something wrong with your CPU.

You may need to take the laptop to a repair shop.
