I connected my Asus Eeebook X205TA laptop to my Dell 24 inch monitor via Micro - HDMI port. But my monitor isn't displaying in full screen. Almost half of the screen is black and I can't make use of the 24 inch screen.
I know the monitor is a 1080p screen and the laptop is 1366 x 768. But is there any possibility that I can make use of the whole screen on my monitor?

Thanks, in advance!

Hi,

Have you tried doing a Auto Adjust with your monitor or manually stretching out the display? If all these has been tried, please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Got to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- In programs and Features and uninstall anything related to your graphics card.
- Next is to download and install the latest graphics driver from the manufacturers site.
- After the install reboot your laptop for all the changes to take effect.
- Do test it with your external monitor as well.

Here are more troubleshooting steps that may help.
