I am using my laptop for the time being to burn DVD Movies. I have a Acer Intel B960 Processor Dual Core. I will be burning DVD's probably 6-10 Per month for about the next year until i purchase a new desktop. At this rate would my Laptop DVD Player withstand the load??

Thanks

There shouldnt be any problems with the DVD Player at all, you can burn even 10 dvd's per day and it shouldn't make that much of a difference.
The only thing you want to pay attention is the place where your laptop resides and how clean it is, because DVD uses Lens to read the discs and if it gets dusty inside, it can stop reading/writing to the discs.
Also old DVDs tend to be full of dust, because they aren't used with years, so be sure to check if you can read/play those discs after burning them.
