Solved! Laptop won't connect to the WiFi.

I use a Lenovo laptop. This thing has been happening for a while where my laptop can connect to the internet fine, for a while, after about 15 or 20 minutes, the connection either drops to 1 bar or disconnects completely. When it drops to 1 bar, it either goes back up and continues normally for a short while, or it just disconnects. When it disconnects, my laptop won't connect back to the network i'm trying to connect to. When I try connecting, the list of available connections is gone, all the connections just disappear. The WiFi symbol changes to the symbol that shows when you disable the WiFi. Then after 2 or 3 seconds it shows all of the connections again, and it shows the connection i'm trying to connect to, and it says "Can't connect to this network." and then the connection disappears from the list. It comes back after a while but with no bars, 1 bar, or full bars. But when I try again the same thing happens. I have to restart my laptop so it can connect again. If anyone knows a solution it would be greatly appreciated, since I've been using an Ethernet cable for a while now. (I'm new to this website, so sorry if I did anything wrong.)

It doesn't have to be a problem with the device so much as if the modem/router is losing connection (the ISP speed drops or the connection goes out) your device may be one of the ones (there are many) that doesn't just auto reconnect. Most phones, tablets, etc., will reconnect automatically, picking up where they left off when a connection is lost for a moment. However your device may be the kind that, once the connection is lost, you have to work to reconnect it. That is itself a flaw to be sure, but not a problem with the device. It is still a problem with the modem/router and/or ISP.

Another way to test this is if you can connect via Ethernet. If the problem is your WiFi connection, then the problems will completely stop when...

Everyone else can connect to the modem fine, it seems my laptop is the issue.

Another way to test this is if you can connect via Ethernet. If the problem is your WiFi connection, then the problems will completely stop when connected via Ethernet. However the problems will continue if the problem is as mentioned above. It may not kick you out completely like now, but the connection will still seriously fluctuate.
