Laptop's keyboard spamming v

My laptop keeps spamming the key "v". When I press the "v" key it doesnt actually do anything. I've remapped the "v" key to the windows button, but the problem still persists. It only stops when i press the capslock key, but reappears again shortly. I've also used malwarebytes to check for viruses, nothing. I've also reinstalled my keyboard drivers.

Might be a problem with the key matrix on the keyboard, or the keyboard controller on the main board. Does it happen with an external USB keyboard?

I plugged in my external keyboard and it doesnt happen anymore

Sounds like just the built-in keyboard, then, which is a lot cheaper than getting an issue with the keyboard controller fixed. You'll probably have to have the built-in keyboard replaced.
