I have a 42 inch Digital Lifestyles LCD TV that one day went black with no sound, menu or anything else. I have repaired the PWR Supply w/new filter caps and one other cap. The output voltages were then present and correct. This got me to the backlight coming on but no menu or anything else. I replaced the main board and the 1st thing I noticed was that without a signal, the screen was pink and black 'snow' instead of white and black. The TV otherwise works but seems to have a slight pink tint to SOME white areas. The TINT control on the video menu is only available when the signal source is TV for an over the air ant that I don't have. Do I have bad inverter boards for the backlighting or a bad T-Con board, or something else. Thanks for any help.

OK, thanks. I guess I wasn't hopeful that it could be something simple. Several years ago I bought a calibration and burn removal DVD and will give that a try and post the results.
