LED keyboard stuck on blue keyboard shortcut and KLM software not responsive

Fangbook 3 LED Keyboard stuck on Blue. tried to reinstall the MSI KLM with no avail. The keyboard stopped working after a windows 10 update. Not sure if that is relevant. Any suggestions?

The driver that I was given by the OEM does not work after being installed.
