It depends a lot on your useage needs, and it looks like yours is mainly gaming (at least, that's the most demanding chore you'll be having your laptop doing). That being the case, the graphics card in each one will be important. Do they have graphics cards and which one gives you the most GPU bang for buck? aside from the raw hardware, company-wise both are pretty good. Lenovo is seriously kicking butt right now with some of their new laptop releases; they're really working for the market share. ASUS has nice engineering (I like their motherboards, for example) but their customer service isn't so hot
