Lenovo y700 suggestions

Hi All.

I am Planning to buy a Lenovo y700 . Actually i am confused with 3 models of lenovo y700 with various specs and cost... Please help me to make a decision.. The 3 models are:

1. Lenovo y700 for 999$- Touch, No SSD, Only 8 GB Ram(on best buy)

2. Lenovo y700 for 1050$- Non Touch, Has SSD and 16 GB Ram(on Lenovo Official Website)

3. Lenovo y700 for 1100$: Touch, Has SSD and 16 GB ram..(on Lenovo Official Website)..

My Usage:
high end games
Movies

Please advice me to decide on one.

Hi,

If you'll be using the laptop mainly for gaming then you won't need the Touch feature. SSD would be a big help when it comes with games plus the 16GB RAM.

#2 is likely the best for your needs unless you want to have a touchscreen.

Games don't really need 16GB of RAM. 8GB is enough for most games, but having 16GB of RAM is nice I guess.

A SSD is nice to have. You give up storage capacity compared to a hard drive for faster read / write speeds so that means the laptop will boot up faster and programs will load faster.
