LG Home Theatre to Toshiba TV. No video input on all 3 hdmi ports.

Used to work great. Not anymore. I bought a new hdmi cable, no luck.
Bought a new Sony dvd player with hdmi out and that didn't work.
I've also tried powering everything down, unplugging everything and started fresh.
Still no luck, what else can I try?
I did notice that some hdmi cables were $50 and some were $10. What is the difference?
I don't think it is the cable. The TV can "see" my home theatre. Just no video input message.

remove the HT receiver and test all the other devices direct to your tv. if they all work your receiver is bad.

What does 'the TV can "see" my home theatre' mean ?

The difference with HDMI cables is usually the bandwidth that they're capable of, quality of cable, and amount of shielding.
