I have an LG TV (model 42LC7D - UB) and it's been having problems turning on lately. When I press the power button, it flashes green for awhile, then it goes solid green (at this point, when working, the tv would turn on). Unfortunately, the tv doesn't turn on and the sound doesn't work. Nothing appears to be on, other than the solid green light still on.
Is this an issue with the starter? Is there something I can easily replace or check to see if it's broken?
Also, it isn't that the tv is a slow starter. If I leave the TV on, it won't turn on.
What should I do? Thanks.
Also: I am a senior in college, and this TV only has to last another 2 months. If there is any DIY that doesn't necessarily guarantee long term life but can power this thing up for a little bit longer, I'm all ears.
