Looking for a mini amp to power Klipsch R-15M speakers

The title pretty much states the question.

Right now I have a large, 15 year old, home theater style receiver powering them, however I just use them as computer speakers. The receiver I have is a Sony 100 watt per channel x 4 channel at 8ohms unit. I am hoping to find something smaller than could sit on my desk, below my monitors maybe. The speakers recommended RMS power handling is 85w, but it's better to over power than under power them if I understand correctly.

IS there a mini amp that puts out this kind of power in a two channel format? I haven't been able to find anything, and I don't know much about brands of amplifiers. I am hoping a home audio veteran knows something of the top of their head.

There are lots of amps out there that you can use....and as far as power....if you want to get full power out of the speakers than you need to power them with an amp rated at what the speakers are....BUT FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.....NO!

You could get away with a 10 watt amp easy.

10 watts can be pretty loud.

First off, never, EVER overpower your speakers. That's how you blow them. The good news is that your speakers are 94db sensitivity at 1 watt at 1 meter - which is excellent. You can easily get away with any amp from 10W to 85W RMS into 8 ohms. **make sure the amp is rated RMS into 8 ohms**
Do not get any amp that is rated above 120 W peak. And even then, if they advertise peak power instead of RMS, the distortion is probably not listed because it's cranked up to massive distortion levels to get that peak power.
A 50W RMS amp will get you a maximum of 111Db - which is quite loud. The amp you cited is actually quite nice.

Every small digital amp will be worse than what you have already. Stick with the Sony.
