Looking for a name of a video output connector

I have an old camcorder that has a lot of priceless old footage and I wanted to convert those vhs-c tapes to digital, however the only connector that I can find one the camera is a one with 8 pins layed out in a circle, it's like a full 360 circle made out of pins

I was wondering if anyone who has a knowledge of these things, unlike myself. It's an old German camcorder. I thought that there's no need for a photo as the explanation does the job.

It's probably the same on both ends. But if you are using an old German camcorder that fits that 8-pin connector, the other end will want to have a connector matching the device you are connecting it to.

Is there a device on the market that would convert this unusual plug to standard output? Or should I just invest in a vhs player to screen capture that thing ?
