So as stated in the title I need some type of application that I can connect my tablet or phone to my pc and allow me to draw on the tablet which would have it appear on my second monitor of my pc. I am running windows 7. I just recently tried to use splashtop 2, but it wouldn't allow me to access the app unless I paid $2 a month to utilize it. I also don't have a wifi card in the computer so it would have to be wired. Is there another app or solution that anyone knows about? Thanks for all your help.

Yes you need to just connect the tablet to the monitor/TV for what you want to do. You can either use a video adapter if your tablet supports it, and some also have the ability to mirror the screen wireless but that depends on the tablet and the display you are using.

That Splashtop looks to just be a remote access utility. There are free tools like that available, this is the Microsoft one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.rdc.android&hl=en

Or you can just get an external video adapter for your tablet (many have those) and connect the monitor to the tablet directly. You don't need WiFi on the computer if the computer is connected to the same network as the tablet, even using a cable.

So I didn't fully understand the remote access utility clearly. That isn't what I need at all. I'm doing some math lectures with someone else and I need the ability to turn one of my tablets into a whiteboard on my second monitor so it sounds like I need the external video adapter and then run some type of app I can draw on. jI should have probably explained that in the original post.
