I want a new laptop that is better than my old one and not so expensive (under $500). I plan to use it to do homework and play GW2 (my current computers runs it but kindda lags on places with many players).

My old laptop has:
APU A8 6410 Quad Core
Radeon R5 6410
4Gb of RAM

what iGPU is better Radeon R7, Radeon R5 or HD 620?

Solution
The Radeon R7 (Bristol Ridge) in the A12-9700p is the most powerful iGPU of the 3. It's about that of the nVidia 930m.

The Intel HD 620 is less powerful than a nVidia 920m.

The Radeon R5 (Beema) is definitely the least powerful; being less powerful than the Intel HD 4000 in 3rd generation Intel CPUs.

Would you say getting the computer with the R7 is a considerable upgrade worth getting?

They are $100 more expensive than the ones ive listed. Is the 940Mx way faster than the R7?

lol.simple answer yes.the 940mx is a dedicated graphic cards with its own dedicated video memory while the R7 is integrated and share memory with the system ram.so in short the 940mx will blow the r7 out of the water on any games u throw at it.peformance wise the 940mx with the gddr5 should surpass the gtx 660m/760m which is consider to be a mid range gaming gpu during its days.the $100 more is worth spending.
