Looking for the best professional video capabale digital camera for under $2000...

So I'm looking at purchasing the best digital camera for professional quality video making I can for under $2000. I've been doing a bunch of research and am leaning towards the new GH4. Obviously it has the 4K capability which allows it to be very useful for the coming years which is a big plus. But I mainly am aiming to shoot in the typical film format of 1080p at 24 fps. I want the sharpest and best image/sound quality I can get for $2k and was wondering about people's opinions in similar situations as I have heard that the GH4 is not without its shortcomings. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

Are you referring to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 4K Mirrorless Micro Four Thirds Digital Camera? If yes, does your budget include room for lenses? Most, but not all, lenses for that camera will push your budget over $2000. Of course the advantage is that you are able to use interchangeable lenses.

Other options for a 4K camera/camcorder for under $2000 include:
Sony FDR-AX100 Full HD Camcorder

If you decide full HD is good enough you could consider the Canon XA20 Professional HD Camcorder

For a full frame DSLR under $2000 you could consider the Sony Alpha a7 Mirrorless Digital Camera

dude , gh4 is the powerfull 4k camera under 2000 usd...so go for it...mainly for learning filmmakers it is the best...u should also afford more for its accessories....like extra 1000 to 1500 usd...if u did these all..then u can make professional short films....if u are looking for home videos camcorders then this is not user friendly..
