Hi everyone,

I appear to have lost my IEC power cable for my EV EKX 15p active PA speaker. It's one of those generic looking power cables you find going into PSU's and some bigger TV's. This may be a silly question but can I just use another cable from something else?

I tried to do some research but I'm a little confused with what gauge I need, as the speaker is a 1500w active speaker does this require a thick gauge or anything?

Heres a link to the tech specs of the speaker I have if that helps? (Can't post an image so see page 42)

Many thanks in advance,

Yeah I also read that, but then it says 1.8A(3)

(3) Current rating is 1/8 power.

Does this mean therefore for me to run this at full volume, it would be 1.8*8 = 14.4A? (which is more than most 10A cables)

Or am I reading it wrong?

Thanks

I don't have an answer for that. You would have to ask electrovoice ...
