UN32N5300AFXZA 32" 1080p Smart LED TV (Samsung) and a LP-S08 soundbar...trying to connect. The LP-S08 box and instructions say "easy" my brain says not enough of the right configured plugs included. It looks like the soundbar takes a 3.5mm Aux (male) and the TV something squarish. And are there two sizes of these squarish things or just one.? (As you can see I am not too literate in these terms! ) What do I need here? Thanks

Your TV has digital optical audio out.
Your soundbar has 1/8" stereo in.
You need a converter like this.
https://www.amazon.com/Optical-Digital-Converter-Support-Control/dp/B07BKX8BV7/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1549045839&sr=8-5&keywords=digital+optical+audio+to+analog

You come out of the TV with a digital optical cable which is included.

Then you come out of the converter to the soundbar with a cable like this.

https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-3-5mm-2-Male-Adapter-Cable/dp/B01D5H8KO2/ref=asc_df_B01D5H8KO2/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167146065113&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16468696836001385606&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9005448&hvtargid=pla-303037967706&psc=1

You don't have to get that EXACT converter. There are lots on Amazon.

Thanks, I ordered just what you suggested...wish me luck in figuring it out...simple for some, I know!

You're welcome.
This is a pretty common thing.
Plug one end of the optical cable into the TV optical out.
The other end to the converter optical in.
Then plug the RCA plugs on that other cable to the RCA out on the converter.
Then plug the 1/8" stereo plug into the soundbar.
