M100 is it a good compromise camera?

I am a large format landscape photographer so have the old skills. I also use Lightroom also to publish I!ages now. We tour alot, so need liteweight cameras, and I want to capture those few outstanding images yoi run into. I shoot only raw, no video, all have eos lenses from my old film kit. Is the m100 an acceptable camera for touristm stuff and for shooting those wow images I find, or will I be continually disappointed once I get the images into editing. I want liteweight and image quality to make it worth the $?

If you are an "old school" photographer then you probably are familiar with dpreview. Here is there review -- https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canon-eos-m100-review BUT, as it says in their review the performance is similar to the M5 and M6. You might prefer the conventional form-factor of the M5. You really need to handle each body in addition to reading the reviews.
