Medion MD9850 Windows Vista Home Preium plugged in not charging

Ordered a new battery for Medion Akoya - MD 96850 - Windows Vista Home Premium.
The old battery had 11,1 V output tension. The new battery has 10,8 V output tension. My laptop starts with the new battery. When I plug the Original charger in, a message telling 'battery not recognized' appears and the battery is not charged.
What is the reason an can this be fixed?

Try power cycling.turn off your laptop..remove the battery.hold the power button for 30-60 second.plug in adapter and battery.switch it on.

Sadly, this didn't fix the problem.

Have u tried with the old battery again?if it still new you can get a replacement with the same voltage as the old battery.

Sure, he old battery is recognized. The new is empty.
