memory locked lock

I have a canon power shot SD780is digital elpg memory card locked in on the sceen camera was working fine but when I charged the battery and put it back it - -memory card locked is on the screen, I'm using a brand new 16gb class 10 sdhc card what can i do? Rod

Have you checked to make sure the SD card isn't actually locked? They have a tiny switch on the side that can lock them.
