Why don't everyone demand a upgrade by Samsung to let us download apps to the SD card? They can put out a upgrade very easy to marshmallow software to fix this ridiculous step backwards.

Actually, it isn't Samsung that would be who you would need to talk to. They make the phone, not the OS (operating system). It would be them you would need to talk to. The OS creators. In the case of the Android OSs it is made by Google.

And, they actually do have that ability, to a point, in the most recent version Marshmallow. In it you can set an SD card to be internal rather than the standard external. So someone at Google was paying attention to what people were asking. However, once set to internal, then you can't read the SC card on another device (if you took it out of the phone and plugged it in to another device.) as the card would be encrypted.

However, I also must ad that many sites and apps won't work on a SD card, no...
