microsoft access file can't be accessed

im trying to access a microsoft access file but i keep getting an error message that says:

"microsoft access cannot open this file.
this file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. microsoft access will not open the file due to potential security problems. to open the file, copy it to your machine or an accessible network location."

i copied the file on to my desktop and i still get that same message. i've been trying to play around with the security features on the computer but nothing happens, i still get the same problem.

PLEASE HELP ME! THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM!!

i have figured out a solution to this problem if any one cares. you have to make the location path of the file a trusted site in internet explorer. sounds weird? yup it differently is weird but it works!
