Microsoft Publisher 2010 Font problem

Hi community,
I have a font problem with Publisher 2010. I want to use the font "Flipbash", which I downloaded from the net. It is installed properly and is on the list of fonts in Publisher, but when I select it to write something, the font is simple Arial (Flipbash keeps being selected on the font list). I CAN use the font Flipbash in Word 2010. How to write using that font in Pub10? Thanks for reading my question.

EDIT: Many of my fonts on the list in Publisher aren't working (appearing in Arial).

Try turning on font-smoothing:

Start button ...then right-click Computer & choose "Properties"
Click "Advanced System Settings" in the left panel.
Click the top-most Settings button.
Fourth from bottom, tick "Smooth edges of screen fonts"
Click 'OK'

Checked it, it was already turned on. Tried turning it off, too, but most of my fonts are still not working.
