microsoft visual c++ redistributable

Hello everybody,

i try to install microsoft visual 2005 c++ redistributable (x64) for windows 8, the problem is that this does not come to end, i mean it stucks at the right end of the installation and doesn't complete it then an errors message appears. I need this software very much for another software that i want to work on. It's only an introductory of the installation process for the second software. Please tell me what can be done to solve this problem. Thank you.
