Mitsubishi WD-60735 Software Update

The website once had downloadable .zip and .pdf files that included a software firmware update and Service Manuals for this model, but no more. I did manage to get a .pdf Service Manual, but I need the latest software for a firmware update that will work for WD-60735. My installed software version is V39010.0

Its a 10 year old TV. Why does it need a firmware update?

It still works just fine! The Air Force still flies the B-52, even though it is older than its pilots. After a product is released, the manufacturer and/or end user may discover issues which were not anticipated at the time of release. Errors, improvements, or enhancements may be addressed. The user menus and functions are dated and have relatively limited functionality. I anticipate improvements and/or fixes, which is quite common after any product release. As an example, consider Microsoft Windows and how it is constantly being changed, and updated. I would like to know if this is the only update.

Since there are no newer files available at Mitsubishi, it would seem that there are no newer updates for it.
It is a discontinued item. They're not going to keep putting resources into it.

And yes, I'm well aware we're still flying the BUFF...

From Mitsubishi Support: " Unfortunately, there were no software upgrade on this particular unit." Should have contacted them from the first! ! Still works and makes a passable backup TV .
