i am going to mexico city for a week and would like to know if I can purchase a sims card in the us that would be compatible for my motorola and mexican networks, anyone know?

Does not look like your phone will work there, it's a 800/900 dual band, but Mexico is on 850/1900. http/www.cellularabroad.com/mexicocellService.php <-- this gives some good info about cell service and your options in Mexico.
