I have videos that are in .mpg format and when I watch them on my phone it is clear HD. After I edit them in Windows Movie Maker and export them, though not very obvious, you can kinda see that the video quality isnt as good. I save them as the android 720p MPEG-4/H.264 format. Am I doing it wrong? I am not sure abt the original video quality though but it is most likely 720p. I uploaded it to youtube and you can kinda see a little difference.

Edited with Windows movie maker:

Tell me if im wrong but what can I do to not lose video quality?

If you don't know the resolution/quality of the original video try using the "Recommended for this project" option under the save menu. I believe that will save it in a resolution as close to the original as possible, if not the same
