Mp3 player

Hello,I have a Sony digital music player. In my player is a many maps with songs. When I turn on my mp3 player I see one map and all songs in it, but when I connected to pc it I don't see this map! I look everywhere, but it's gone. How can it be? I can't delete this map and songs, because I don't see this map. I don't understand it! Please, someone help me! Maybe someone have the same problem?
