My Asus ROG G750JW lags when unplugged!

When my laptop is plugged in at the wall it runs games like BF4 seamlessly, but when I unplug it it automatically switches to power saver and when I switch it back to High Performance it still lags. When you plug the charger out the PC will try to get as much out of the battery as possible regardless of power options. If i was you i would play with the charger inserted all the time. If you are worried about damaging the battery life, then you could take it out.

Because of Optimus technology, your laptop is disabling your graphics card while running on battery. You'd need to manually adjust the preferred graphics card while on battery from your integrated graphics to the dedicated graphics.

Right click your desktop background, hit nvidia control panel, then go to manage 3d setting, then adjust the preferred graphics processor to your graphics card
