My camera does a ghosting effect when recording video.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ48, And when I record video with it, it starts ghosting when I move the camera. I try to film cinematics. And I can't make any fast movements, or it will look bad.

Have you tried adjusting the shutter speed? I read that if you are shooting at 24p (or 30p or 60p) the shutter speed should be twice that of the frame rate. For example, if you are shooting at 24p then the shutter speed should be 1/48 (or as close to it as possible such as 1/50).

Panning quickly while recording in 24p will cause motion blur and is usually not ideal for fast moving people or objects or fast pans.
To do it well you will need to practice with various setting and find the one that works for you. Lighting is also critical. Low light situations are not idea with the shutter speed you will need to reduce motion blurring.
