My hp pavilion dv7-1245dx entertainment notebook pc will not power up.

My hp pavilion used up all of its battery power and now it will not start, even with the power supply connected. What should I do?

Does the notebook start without the battery attached?

With the battery out hold down the power key for 30 seconds.
Re-attach the battery, let it charge for a couple hours, and try a restart.

When the AC Adapter is plugged in are you seeing a red/orange light indicating its charging?
