My laptop is asus K501U and there is light in the charging light and the lights beside it. Help me please. It's just 5 months old.

your lcd might have issue if external monitors works.if its 5 month it should still be under warranty.i suggest returning it and get it check.

Have you tried hitting Function and F7 at the same time? It appears that your laptop has a hotkey for turning the built in monitor on and off that may have accidentally been hit.
