My Library sucks

New Nexus 7-2...trying to find my way through this android tablet...so far ...confusing. On my Home screen ( I believe its called ) MY Library, i see a couple of book icons...Treasure

You should be able to drag the icon to the bin if you tap and hold it.

What is a 'bin'? Remember new to the Android OS.

It's a graphic of a rubbish/garbage bin where it stays unseen until you get rid of completely. Gets it off the screen though.

Thanks...but one has to be quick and sensitive to the tap. Just tapping could also bring up the first page of the book that i want to get rid of....BTW, i guess it depends on what version of Nexus 7 one has....by doing what you suggested does not bring up a 'bin' ( garbage looking icon ) it brings up the word "remove"

Aha - more and different functionality than my £60 Chinese clone. 😀 You can move icons in much the same way.
