My tablet won't start - nothing working.

I have a samsung tablet, less than two months old. It died a couple days ago and now it's not turning back on. I've tried switching outlets, cords, chargers and testing them on other devices to ensure they work. I'm not sure if my tablet just isn't charging or if it's just not turning on. I've tried leaving it charging for several hours and nothing worked. I've tried holding down the power button, the up and down volume buttons and the home button in the various combinations that I've seen online. I figured I'd toss the question out to the group before paying someone to look at it. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Maybe there's a button combo I missed or something else I haven't tried but I'd appreciate the help.

If it is that new, contact the manufacturer as it should be under warranty.
