my viewsonic TV model N3752w displays Power locked on tv screen, I can't turn tv on or off

Power locked displays on screen on ViewSonic HDMI Tv, model N3752W, how can I unblock? I can't turn tv on or off unless when desconected from outlet.

push volume un on tv and menu buttons at the same time for 5 seconds this should unlblock

Beautiful - we have one of these at work with the same problem for over a year. We were using the sleep timer set for 5mins to power down every night. You've made me a hero!
