Hey!
So, i'm going to college next year and have been trying to decide on a laptop to buy in the coming months.
I'll be using this laptop not as a desktop alternative since I already have one but more of a stable and solid laptop that i can use both for schoolwork and some light-medium gaming ( no I don't mean facebook light but smaller Steam games light)
Specifically, I've been looking at the Sager NP8235 and Lenovo Y510p as suggested by the title; however, reviews such as this make me consider the Y500.

But as it is, if there is a seemingly better option within my budget range feel free to post your opinion, I'd prefer 1920 x 1080.
Budget: Probably around 1000-1300, preferably closer to 1000 if possible.
Also, it would be nice to hear your guys' opinions on what website available upgrades are worth getting and what are not.
Websites:
-Lenovo
-XOTICPC
Lenovo:
- Lightweight
- Cheaper
- 35 mm height
Sager:
- Faster HDD
- Better GPU
- option for OS SSD?
- Bulkier (44mm)
- Doesn't come with OS
My Desktop is as follows:
Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO GEN3
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K
RAM: 2 x 4GB G Skill RipJaws & 2 x 4GB Patriot Viper
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
HDD: Seagate 2TB 7200rpm
