Need help choosing a good gaming mouse and a headset please!

Right now I'm trying to decide between the Corsair Gaming M65 RGB FPS PC Gaming Laser Mouse and Logitech G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse does anyone have any other suggestions? Since I'm getting a corsair keyboard and a mousepad I thought I'd get the corsair mouse too but I heard some bad things about it so I'm kind of contemplating now..

And the headset I've got in mind is Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930, my friend has it and he loves it but I'm not too sure if the wireless affects the quality in any way, also would be nice if I got a few other headsets as a back up plan...

The best gaming mouse on the market right now is arguably the Logitech G502. The M65 is heavy and uses a laser with acceleration that can throw off your game. If you are set on Corsair get the M45 which is an optical mouse.

For quality audio you shouldn't buy a gaming headset. Take a look at the options below for good headphones and mics (some attach to headphones, others can be mounted on your monitor or sit on your desk.)

i've tried the g502 and it is a good mouse. the only negatives are that it might be a bit narrow for people who like large mice and the scrollwheel is a cross between hyperscrolling and a clunky click style scrollwheel. either you will hate it or love it.

other alternatives are the razer deathadder (this is what i use) and roccat kone. mouse acceleration is not a game breaker and you get used to it but i agree that optical is a better choice as laser has a few quirks.

i'm of the opinion that headphones and seperate mic (or add on modmic) will give you the best quality sound though if you are after a headset only then the g930 is not terrible. its good, but not as good as headphones. another good budget option is the hyperxcloud though the new version has a defective soundcard so i'd suggest the original.

I agree with Dwnelson, the Logitech G502 is the best gaming mouse on the market right now, however about headsets i highly recommend SteelSeries H Wireless with Dolby 7.1. i'm using about 3 mounts and they are perfect.

The steel series seem really good, but I wasn't really looking to throw 300 bucks at a headset, tho I might think about it because it really does look good..

I think I'm convinced for that mouse already, my hands are kind of big and I needed something that would just fit in my hand length wise, not a big fan of claw grip mice..
Also thats why I want to get a separate headset and mic for the quality, the hyperx cloud doesn't have surround sound or does it?

lengthwise the g502 is pretty decent but for large hands it may be too narrow. most local shops have the deathadder and g502 on display so i'd recommend getting a hands on feel if you can.

no, the hyperxcloud does not. technically the hxc2 does but the soundcard is bugged and you dont want to use it on the hxc2. its all virtual surround anyways which you CAN emulate on any pair of headphones if you have hardware capable of creating it. some onboard sound can do this but normally a cheap soundcard like the xonar dg would work for this purpose if it does not.

if you're interested in headphones i suggest thinking up a budget, making your mind up about what kind of sound you want to hear and reading some previous posts of mine in this section. search the forum for "ssddx headphone headset" or google for "ssddx tomshardware headphone headset" and you will find a few. read a bit more into the various choices and get back to me if you have any questions.
between $100-170 on a pair of headphones (extra on mic) if you want the most options available to you. there are some cheap sub-$100 options which are pretty decent such as the CAL! but you'll do better spending more.
