I connected laptop(satellite a665-s6086) via hdmi to tv(60uh7700) but the screen won't fill like in the older tv we had. The laptop is set at its highest resolution which is 1366x768(recommend) and tv is set to 16:9 aspect ratio. I was wondering if there is a fix to this since it's never really be an issue with other tvs. Thanks for any help/advice it's appreciated

the option is on the tv, could be a botton called wide or aspect ratio

also could be a setting in the tv menu, the pc just sends the signal, tvs can do alot with it or just be dumb and stretch, crop or report wrong resolutions

what tv model? this one? 60uh7700

http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-60UH7700-4k-uhd-tv

is a 4k tv, check it is doing proper upscale to 4k, again, on the tv settings

btw, the resolution you mention is hd, that is 9 times smaller than 4k, the maximum resolution is for the laptop screen, not the output via hdmi, perhaps also play with output modes, not clone, put hdmi as main screen if laptop allows
