Need help with black screen

I am trying to put my laptop to óut of box state but i get a red box after pressing 0 or f12 .. warning i will wipe hhd if i continue ... i select yes and i then get a please wait msg then screen turns black and stays that way and i get no settings to put it back to out of box state

Have you tried doing a hard reboot? Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then boot it back up. If it will boot back up do try running a factory reset with it again and see if that will work or not.

Different laptop brands has different ways on how to reset it back to factory.

Did that last night with same result
Reset date and time and then confirmed the reset and it went to a blank screen instead of the settings
