Need Opinions On 2 Laptops

Hey guys, I need some infos on these 2 laptops in which I am deciding which to get but I can't decide so I came here, they are different brands, ASUS and Lenovo, I would like to know which one is better for the price since my budget is $1100 max, my friend told me Lenovo is better but he was being biased since he has not even used an ASUS laptop before. Here they are:

What are you looking to use the laptop for? Going only on hardware specs and putting aside build/product quality, both are perfectly suitable for everyday use. For gaming, I'd go with the ASUS (again, purely based on hardware specs) because it will be ever so slightly faster due to the higher RPM on the drive and the increased RAM, not that you really need more than 8GB in most instances. It's a pretty big price gap though, and again, it will depend on what you want to use it for.

Now I have only owned an asus so I don't really know how good lenovo is. I have heard good things from reviews and from other people that have had lenovo models. I would go with asus as they are really good with cooling and lenovo is normally oriented for business users rather than gamers.
