Got a new headset that says I have to have an optical connection with Dolby Live to enable surround sound. My mobo's digital optical doesn't have Dolby support, so I want to get a sound card for it. I was looking at Asus Xonar DGX - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829132052 It says it has "Dolby headphone Technology for 5.1 surround". But it doesn't specifically say Dolby Digital Live and that's where I'm just not sure. If it says Dolby headphone Technology, does that mean Dolby Digital live? I read that DDL is just an encoding for pc to do surround, so as long as it says Dolby Tech, that means Dolby Digital Live right?
