Need to install OLEAUT32.dll

I tried to install using Msvbvm50.exe but I cannot login as UI stalls. I pulled up the task manager and tried to install it from there. Says it has a problem with loading REGTLIB.EXE, and then says the runtime is installed. No joy. The best that I can do is a cursor in safe mode, but no access to run or command.

That dll is used by Setup, what are your trying to do that you dont have this? You cold just copy it from your source and put it where you want it using the command line.

The loginUI wants this dll or it won't run??? Not even in safe mode. I can't get to any useful point past the choices when you press F8 at startup. It will not restore to an earlier point either, because it wants that dll
