netbook battery life

I'm thinking of buying a netbook which has a 2.670mAh battery. Does anyone know how many hours the battery will last until next recharge in, let's say, 50% brightness? The netbook also has a Intel® Celeron® Processor N2840 cpu which doesn't consume much energy I suppose.

The answer really depends on the specs of the netbook. Does it have a SSD or a HDD? How many cells does its battery have? What applications are running, etc?

You should be able to go to the manufacturer's support website to get their battery life estimate. What make/model are you considering?

http://www.acer.com.my/ac/en/MY/content/model/NX.MSMSM.001 That's the one I'm considering. I'm in a informatics department and I need it for my class. so probably only programs like Visual Studio and chrome. In case I buy it I'll upgrade it to 6GB ram.
